Welcome to our friendly PEER SUPPORT GROUP!

Hosted fortnightly on Zoom, the meetings styles vary between:

Chat - a casual discussion centred around a specific topic, led by questions generated in the discussion; and

Crit - a session where peers are invited to show something they have been working on, to receive and give feedback to one another.

Each chat will have a topic of discussion, peers will be invited to ask any questions they might have about the subject as well as consider what knowledge they can share while discussing the proposed topic. We will be asking peers to propose the kind of topics they want to discuss for the next schedule to keep it relevant to what we want to know as a group. It will also give us time to bring our research A game 🤓.

When the meeting is crit style, peers are invited to show something they have been working on for others to discuss and to give considered and informed feedback. We hope to create an environment in which peers feel comfortable enough to experiment with showing parts of their practice that they may not usually present. This is a chance to take a step back and understand the many ways your working practice interconnects. For the next crit sessions, we are trying out a new format and limiting the presenting artists to 3. We hope this way peers can gather quality feedback about their pieces without feeling rushed and sessions will end at the scheduled time. We ask peers who would like to show work to email us in advance to organise this.

Look at our Meeting Schedule to discover the topic of the next session. Fill in the form on our Sign Up page to receive Zoom links to the next meetings.
